Cape Ann Sports Performance

Youth Strength + Conditioning
We run 8-12 week sessions with 2-3 classes a week for Cape Ann athletes to improve their strength and conditioning. Each session is an hour that includes a breakdown of the warm-up, the workout and other important details the athletes need to move correctly and improve their athletic capabilities. With limited class sizes, we are able to give each athlete individualized training in a group setting. For more information on our next session, please email kara@capeann.com. We are proud to help train youth athletes on Cape Ann and look forward to hearing from you

Our programming focuses on moving correctly with body weight before adding load. Functional movements and strength components that will apply to competition sport like air squats, push-ups, pull-ups, box jumps, running, sled drags, etc will be used throughout the session. Small class sizes ensure that individual attention can be given to each athlete to ensure the programming is tailored to the individual's level of fitness and ability.
Since we run group training, an emphasis is also placed on camaraderie, sportsmanship and encouraging others in the class. Integrity, kindness, hard work and being coachable will be expected of each athlete.
